Making STEM Accessible to Every Learner

PIRPOSAL PATHWAYS

PHASE 01

Problem Identification

Students identify a real-world problem or challenge that interests them.

PHASE 02

Ideation

Students brainstorm different ideas and possible solutions. They are encouraged to be creative, ask questions, draw designs, and work together.

PHASE 03

Research

Students investigate the problem and learn the STEM concepts needed to solve it.

PHASE 04

Prototyping

Students turn their ideas into something tangible. Depending on their age, this could be a simple model, experiment, electronic circuit, robot, 3D design, or computer program.

PHASE 05

Optimization

Students test their prototype, identify problems, and improve their design. They learn that failure is part of the engineering process.

PHASE 06

Solution

Students develop and present their improved prototype as their final solution.

PHASE 07

Analysis

Students evaluate the effectiveness of their solution using evidence and data.

PHASE 08

Learning

Students reflect on the entire experience.
